Dr. Susan D. Fay
Official Website of Internationally Recognized Equine Energy Psychologist, Consultant, and Author of the Amazon Best-Selling Book, Sacred Spaces, Communion with the Horse Through Science and Spirit

Are the silent, yet powerful ingredients missing from most horse training techniques and riding instruction?
In her research of horsemen and women who appear to have a gift with horses, Dr. Susan Fay outlines the invisible things these equestrians do that make their interactions with horses appear effortless.
As a research scientist and life-long equestrian, Dr. Fay spent more than two decades searching for scientific explanations for why some people are able to develop seemingly spiritual relationships with horses. She discovered that equestrians with this gift merely know how to use their natural abilities in a way that most of us were never taught. These abilities already exist inside of each one of us, so we merely need to understand how to use them. But we also need to be willing to open our eyes and hearts and let go of what we believe is possible.

Dual Human-Equine Energy Psychology™
The DHEEP Way™
Book Series

In Woven by Words, Dr. Susan Fay invites equestrians to embark on a transformative journey of healing and communion with horses through the art of storytelling.

Readers are guided to cultivate deeper relationships with themselves and their equine partners, learning how sharing stories can heal, enhance understanding, and ignite a powerful shift in the way we relate to these magnificent animals.

Dr. Fay's approach encourages horse lovers to move beyond conventional training, embracing a holistic perspective that honors the emotional and energetic bonds between humans and horses.

En Pointe: An Energetic Approach to Equine Balance, Relaxation, and Communion offers a gentle, horse-centered approach to helping horses release stress, restore inner balance, and deepen their connection with humans.
In this second book in The DHEEP Way™ series, Dr. Fay introduces The Four Questions Process—a simple yet powerful way to invite horses into relaxation, self-regulation, and trust. Rather than correcting or fixing the horse, this approach teaches readers to slow down, breathe, observe, and listen.
Through practical guidance, real-life stories, and energetic awareness, En Pointe shows how subtle shifts in a horse’s posture, breath, behavior, and presence can reveal their inner state. Readers will learn how to support horses in finding their own answers, thus strengthening confidence, communication, and emotional balance.

En Pointe is for anyone seeking a mutually rewarding partnership with their horse, donkey, or mule—one rooted in presence, empathy, and communion.
